Dallas, Texas native Amy Carlson was a cult leader, spiritualist, singer, and former McDonald’s manager who was infamously known as the leader and founder of the Colorado-based New Age Spiritual Cult, Love Has Won. The cult was mainly active for 7 years, between 2014 and 2021.

Often referred to as Mother God, Amy referred to herself as a 19 billion-year-old divine being who had created the universe and who had been reincarnated more than 500 times. Her followers believed she had supernatural powers and was even capable of healing the sick, and other supernatural deeds.

Amy and her followers mainly used social media, especially YouTube, to share their teachings and doctrines. They had a YouTube channel named 5D Full Disclosure, where they would do live streams and talk about their doctrines and urge people seeking spiritual enlightenment to reach out and join them.

By the time Amy died in April 2021, she had gained over a dozen followers living with her and over two thousand members worldwide.

Early Life and Education

Amy was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and she spent the majority of her young life in the state. Growing up in Dallas, she had a completely normal childhood. She was a talented young lady who often awed many with her beautiful and angelic voice. She loved singing and listening to music.

In school, she was a clever, straight “A” student who was popular among her classmates and teachers alike thanks to her charismatic and magnetic personality.

Despite being a bright student and graduating from high school with excellent grades, she did not hold a degree or diploma from any known institution and instead joined the workforce after graduating from high school.

Spiritual Journey and Love Has Won

While Amy had a totally normal childhood, her early adult life was completely different. Her family revealed that it wasn’t until she was in her late and mid-20s that she started to act differently and develop an interest in New Age philosophies, doctrines, and spirituality.

It was during this period that she came across Lightworkers.org, a website that mainly dealt with matters regarding spirituality and enlightenment. Around the year 2006, she met a man named Amerith WhiteEagle, who convinced her that she was a divine being, and she started acting differently.

Amy started calling herself, god and referring to herself as Mother god. She was so convinced that she was God that she left her husband and three children and moved in with Amerith WhiteEagle in Shasta, CA. The duo referred to each other as Mother and Father-God.

In 2014, after 7 years of being together, Amy and Amerith went their separate ways, and it was during this time that Amy began to preach her doctrines and beliefs and even got her first follower, Miguel.

Her cult was active from 2014 until her untimely death in 2021, where it collapsed in the aftermath of her death, and some of her followers formed a separate spiritual group led by Father God,” said Jason Castillo.

Death and Cause of Death

Despite her doctrines strictly forbidding her and her followers from using or abusing drugs, Carlson was an alcoholic and heavy drinker. She would drink dry liquor almost every day before going to sleep and would excuse her alcohol abuse as a natural painkiller for her cancer symptoms, as she could not take Morphein because it was not natural.

As the years went by, her alcoholism began to catch up with her and affect her health. She began to lose weight and get sick, and she spent the majority of her last months bedridden.

Carlson passed away on April 28, 2021, under the care of her loyal followers and worshippers. Her cause of death was a global body decline that was a result of her alcohol abuse and related symptoms.

She has two sisters Chelsea and Tara, who both loved Amy unconditionally. The two sisters had on numerous occassions tried to help Amy, turn her life around but to no avaial. Her siblings remained supportive of her even after untimely death, and even said that though, she was responsible for the crimes she commited, she did not deserve to die the way she did.

Amy was married three times by the time she got to her early twenties. She had three children, one from each of her three marriages. She left her third husband, Mr. Carlson, after a few years of being married, because she simply believed he was a mere husband who did not deserve her.

There were also rumors that Amy and Amerith WhiteEagle had been married at one particular point in their relationship.

Carlson is survived by her three children: two sons and a daughter. She left her children with her third husband when her eldest son Cole Carlson was only 10 years old in 2006.

At the time of her death, her children did not want anything to do with her, with Carlton even publicly admitting that her mother’s exploits were bad and heinous and that she wouldn’t want to see them continue.

Carlton and his siblings were even looking for legal ways to find justice for former members and families who had spent the majority of their money on his mother’s cult.
